CH-range

The best-in-class system design is flexible enough to meet almost any requirement, both technically and commercially. The range is adapted for safe or hazardous areas. When the amounts of solids in the feed are low, we normally recommend an intermittent discharging centrifuge solution (PX-type). The automatic solids discharge technology helps minimize product loss.

CH 20

Skid-mounted disc stack separation system for industrial applications or pilot plants with small throughput. CH 20 separates liquids and fine solids in streams with small amounts of solids.

Increase your separation efficiency and reduce energy consumption in completely enclosed operation

The Alfa Laval CH 900 centrifugal separator takes separation to a new level thanks to the innovative design of its flow path. The center-to-center principle ensures gentle acceleration into the high G-force separation environment inside the disc stacks. With this flow path design, Alfa Laval CH 900 uses up to 40% less power than conventional centrifugal separators.

The central bottom feed creates a liquid-filled, low-shear environment. The gentle acceleration of the feed keeps the feed droplets or particles intact. This results in superior separation performance, especially when handling emulsions or shear-sensitive particles.

The gentle flow conditions and short settling distances help ensure a low hold-up volume and keep the footprint to a minimum. The center-to-center flow design provides a fully enclosed, gas-tight handling of the process liquid.

CHX-range

The best-in-class system design is flexible enough to meet almost any requirement, both technically and commercially. The range is adapted for safe or hazardous areas. For processes containing high amounts of solids, we recommend a nozzle centrifuge (X-type) which enables continuous discharging. There are multiple types of nozzle separator to suit different applications. The nozzle type separator gives you the flexibility to handle high volumes of solids in the feed, fluctuating amounts of solids as well as high flow rates. Nozzles can be replaced from the outside.

CHB-range

The best-in-class system design is flexible enough to meet almost any requirement, both technically and commercially. The range is adapted for safe or hazardous areas. CHB is a non-discharging solid bowl (B-type) centrifuge solution for liquid/liquid separation applications where there are only small traces of solids in the feed. Any solids that enter the bowl will remain in the bowl until the unit is taken out of service and the solids are manually removed.
